This method is for individuals seeking a higher state of consciousness.

To become self aware enough to understand our emotions as dynamic energy signals, we have to practice being OUT of our preferences, to see when we are trapping IN them. (Or got "hooked" and are ruminating, spinning out, trapped in Ego/Emotion/Non-Reality.) Gain control of your thoughts, attitude, and watch all judgements, expectations, and frivolity fall away. You're learning to take personal responsibility for EVERYTHING in your life and use the mind to cultivate wisdom.

To conceive of the connection of everything, learn and come to understand, hone, and eventually come to strengthen the connected fabric of the mind, body, and spirit, we need a point of reference to become aware of when they are off track/out of the Flow.

To Learn to Pick Your Thoughts and Attitude. The Good Thoughts Will Edge Out The Bad. But it Takes Discipline and Practice. Eventually, You Won't Pick Shitty Thoughts & a Bad Attitude.

Fix Your Mental Problems, Get Connected (to one another & One's SELF), Bring Focus & Clarity to Your Life.
Find EASE in ALL areas of Your Life. Fall Into The Flow of Life.

As you practice restraint from drinking water/wiping sweat, everything (ALL REACTIONS) you will gain control of your thoughts, attitude, and emotions. (Or be able to observe when you're living trapped in the Ego.)

You Love Strengthening Your Mind, Body, Spirit, Intuition Connection & Learning 2 Trust Yourself & that the Universe Is On Your Side.
As children we are taught a set of beliefs which where probably passed down to your parents from their parents. This creates Maya, the Grand Illusion, trapped in the Egoic Mind living in 1 perspective of reality (Superficial). As we become older and get curious about our own beliefs, preferences, likes and dislikes, build our integrity and character (our "person") we must question everything. We must meditate back to a point of reference. Understanding that our Emotions live in our Ego and our Intellect is ruled by Wisdom, Arcing towards Truth, Anchored in Reality. We must bypass our preferences and set a point of reference. Since we have to start where we're at, in the present moment, we start here.
POINT OF REFERENCE
ONE
We sit still, eyes closed, and observe our breath through the nose with our mind. The Ego mind is now LOCKED on the breath and can not observe LEARNED preferences; this frees the Intellectual mind to move about the cabin.
(We set the mind before setting the movement.)
TWO
We apply the tongue to the roof of the mouth, take the breath deep into the back of the throat... very, very, very deep. Stretching the breath as long as possible. LOCK the breath.
THREE
If the eyes are open practice a SINGLE POINT OF FOCUS. (Eventually you will see everything around the LOCKED focus.) LOCK the focus over the middle finger or ANYWHERE but as quickly as possible.
FOUR
You'll contract and release muscles simultaneously, as you do, direct EVERY SINGLE BREATH into a muscle, tendon, the connective tissue around the joint, whatever area needs help, is injured, needs depth, or love.
FIVE
We've separated the Intellectual Mind from the Ego Mind and LOCKED the Mind Focus. We've LOCKED the Visual Focus. We've LOCKED the Breath.
SIX
The Intellectual Mind is LEARNING Very Fast.
SEVEN
Connect the Pelvic Floor to the Depth of the Breath. Where They Connect = Move From There.
We Are Honing a Point of Reference to be Anchored in Reality, In the Truth, At This Present Moment, Out Of Our Preferences. Move from there and get curious.
Eventually, You See The Difference Between Reality / The Truth & Maya / The Illusion & The Fluctuating Mind & See (perhaps find) Your Connection In & 2 The World.
